Our fundamental purpose is to solve foot pain and improve the quality of life of our patients by using the latest advances in modern healthcare techniques and delivering a world class podiatry service.
Following the Prime Minister’s recent announcement confirming a national lockdown from Tuesday 4th of January, we wanted to advise you that this will not affect your appointment as Podiatry is classified as an essential medical service.
The Government and our professional body, the College of Podiatry have confirmed that people can attend their medical appointments throughout the lockdown and encourage people to actively seek medical care if they need it. As we are a medical centre providing essential services we will be remaining open and servicing all of our patient appointments.
The health and wellbeing of our patients is our number 1 priority so we have introduced a wide range of measures to make our clinic as COVID-19 secure as possible.
We have enhanced our clinical procedures to meet the necessary COVID-19 H&S measures to create a Covid-19 secure environment.
The clinical team are wearing full PPE during all patient consultations.
Our patients will continue to be triaged and screened for COVID-19 symptoms before their appointment.
We have introduced online check-in so patients may wait in their car until they are called in.
We have introduced online payments to reduce the need for contact at reception.
For patients who are shielding we are also offering a home visiting service.
Please call us on 01489 881204 to speak to our Patient Care Team if you have any questions.
Thank you for your continued support during this challenging time and we look forward to seeing you very soon.
